The fire bubbling within the depths of their soul
leapt and danced and begged to be set free.
The intense heat burned with the fuel of their passion
as it grew and consumed them
until they disappeared into it's flames.
In the midst of the storm
they stood.
As if by some unseen power, protected.
They kissed
and the storm was gone.
Leaving only the one within,
raging gently
in their hearts.
